About the event
Human Centered Design (HCD) is an approach to problem solving, commonly used in design and management frameworks that develops solutions to problems by involving the human perspective in all steps of the problem-solving process. It offers tools for getting feedback, planning and facilitating meetings, strategic planning. Learn how you can use it in your youth-serving organization to meet desired outcomes. This is a 5 part series and participants MUST ATTEND ALL SESSIONS.
We've got (at least!) four good reasons why you should register with a co-worker for the PLC.
1. The problems and concerns you have aren't going to go away on their own; you need new tools to develop new solutions! 2. Improve facilitation strategies; experience and try out easy-to-use and effective facilitation strategies. 3. Join a community of other smart, curious youth development professionals; learning is more fun when you do it with others! And also easier to apply at your organization with a colleague who understands what you're wanting and trying to do. 4. It's affordable! No one is turned away!
